Derbyshire County Council Adult Care are inviting tenders from suitably qualified providers to deliver a Home Improvement Agency. The Home Improvement Agency will provide practical support, housing related care and repair and advice within the home to support people to keep their homes in good and safe repair and to support people to adapt their homes for their developing needs to enable them to remain independent in their own homes.
The service will ensure the Council meets statutory duties, such as the Equality Act (2010), the Accessible Information Standard (2016) and a commitment to work according to the new General Data Protection Regulation (2018). The service will also have a prevention and well-being focus in line with the principles in the Care Act (2014).
