The University of Roehampton seeks to appoint a provider who can work with the University contract and senior management to evaluate current needs, develop a comprehensive cleaning strategy, and drive best practice and a value for money contract in order to maintain the highest standards of campus facilities and operations for the benefit of staff, students and guests of the University.

The University currently operates a number of contracts throughout the University to carry out all cleaning related tasks and operations to include waste clearance, litter picking, and other facilities related tasks on a regular and ad hoc basis.

The key objective of this process is to aggregate all activities into a single contract, presenting the idea opportunity to establish best practice across the campus and drive value through an effective contractual partnership with a single provider.

The contracting authority reserves the right to award contracts combining the following lots or groups of lots:

The process is being run as 2 independent lots:

— Lot 1 for the Main Campus Activities, and,

— Lot 2 for the Conferencing and Hotel facilities.

Whilst the University seeks to maximise the synergies of awarding a single contract across both lots, it reserves the right to split the contracts between 2 providers, should this represent best quality and value to the University.
