II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:
The design, manufacture and supply of eleven (11) fully assembled e-RTGs capable of handling 1X40 tonne 9'6" container 1 over 5 high and stacking seven containers wide with one roadway between the e-RTG legs. The design and manufacture of the e-RTGs to comply with the purchaser's Technical Specification.
The e-RTG to be powered by electricity from a fixed installation but have diesel power back-up for emergency container handling and for powering the e-RTG during block changers.
The installation of up to 5 container blocks 400 m long with a fixed electricity pick-up system will form part of the contract.
The e-RTGs shall be sixteen wheeled with full AC drive and include semi-automatic operation.
