Tenders are invited for the supply of services in respect of bus services that will serve residential areas that are not covered by commercial public transport services.
The Council will supply 12 electric buses for use on this Contract. In exceptional circumstances, vehicles may need to be temporarily substituted by the successful tenderer's own diesel vehicles. This must be done at the successful tenderer's own cost and should build this contingency into the contract price.
The tenderer must submit a cost for operating the service, according to the Council specification. The fare revenue collected from the service must be deducted from the invoice submitted to the Council.
The successful supplier will be responsible for providing this service, liaising closely with the contract Manager,
